Hi, my name is Maja Szumylo. I love photography. But the main reason why I am a photographer is that I love life in every form, I LOVE people...
I use my natural abilities to feel, see and capture real emotions, the bond between you and the light that shines within you. You will receive images with soul that evoke emotions every time you and others look at them.
The photographs you will get from me will take you back to who you truly are at your best as a person, as a couple, as a family... Your senses will take you back to when you just had your precious baby. The images will always remind you, your children and generations to come about YOU and the love you have for them...
That is why this section should be called ‘About You’, because my photography is all about You. I truly see unique beauty in every single human being and all creations. The camera is a magical, marvelous tool that allows me to capture what is essential- uniqueness, raw emotions, personalities and relationships.
I grew up in the southern part of Poland and left my country following my dreams by coming to Australia- after marrying the love of my life and my very best friend. Since then we have had two beautiful girls together- the biggest joy and treasure.
Years ago something began to eat me up. I have always seen this amazing, unique beauty in everything that surrounds me, especially in humans. I realized that we all looked at things very differently and I so wanted to share with others what I saw. I realized with a camera I could communicate how I saw the world. I realized the power of emotional connection with a subject. I felt I had to follow my heart and to find out if I could be really good, at something that I loved. I am blessed with a husband who knew that too, and supported me in making the idea to come true in all possible ways.
Today I know I have the best job in the world, as I do what I absolutely love to do!
Even though I always chase my dreams and visions in photography I also realize that people have their visions too, and I always aim for a positive, emotional response to the photos they receive.
